Do you accept demos?
Yes we accept demos and we'll check out your website Myspace when we get the chance.
What type of bands do you accept?
We are mainly a Punk/indie label but this isn't restricted to loud guitars . We will consider anything if we like it.
What type of deals do you offer?
Well that depends, We prefer to release an E.P to begin with which is offered on a 18month non exclisive contract. ( you are free to release other stuff on other labels) In that 18 months we can negotiate a single and album deal if both parties are happy with future arrangemnts on a more exclusive agreement.
Would you release our existing E.P/single/Album?
Yes indeedy! If you already have self financed the production of your own material and it's of a salleable quality then we could License these recordings and release them through our label.
If we sign with you what will you do for us?
Good question! the first step would be to start the recording process for your E.P. This would invlove a little pre production in the rehearsal room. Picking songs from your set and looking objectivley at the arrangements and perfromances and your sound making sure that before we enter the studio we all know what we're doing to produce a saleable product.
You mention saleable product, Are you just a money making mogul?
No No, we wish! We want to capture a band at their potential best at that point in time. We believe that everything we release should be of a particular standard. This doesn't mean over produced but just performed to your best and everything is in tune, and in time, thats why we have pre production sessions. You can debate like a musicologist about the aesthetics of your music and sonic qualities but most people agree if something is sloppy then you can't expect people to love it let alone buy it.
So how successful can we get?
Hold on partner! I have two balls and none of them crystal. Your success is largely down to how hard you work as a band. If your touring or giggng regulary and pro active with your own promotion through your social networks and press then this will greatly increase the possibilties of downloads, and because all the digital downloads are catco registered and are chart eligable this will increase your profile and national attention. It's in our interest to promote
your release so we produce promos and press releases for plugging to radio along with reviews and interviews in zines and mags to coincide with your activities.
Our label also benefits from our parent label the PWR group. Who operate similar to ourselves and host a number of specialist sub labels like KNS inwhich we can call upon their extensive knowledge and resources of their team through co-promotions and compilations.
Your music will be available world wide online. Our digital distributor gets our music out through over 700 online stores and strategically plan a campaign on your behalf by marketing your music to different territories with innotive distribution to increase exposure.
